All humans are made of both the sun and the moon, the masculine and the feminine. In this power class with Kristen, we will tap into both lunar and solar energies as we work our way to Surya Yantrasana (Compass Pose).
This vibrant core-focused class will focus on the front, side, and back core. Sculpt your core with familiar asana shapes and traditional gym exercises. Use a block to add a little weight and resistance to turn up the heat!
This fun and upbeat practice will move vigorously through a vinyasa sequence that will work on opening the front, sides, and backs of the legs and hips. Challenge and work your way towards Bhujapidasana, Tittibhasana, Firefly, and finally arriving in a compass pose - Parivrtta Surya Yantrasana.
This class will work on variations of backbends towards Eka Pada Rajakapotasana, then recruit the hamstrings to Hanumanasana.
A vibrant and action-packed power flow using props for added resistance to strengthen all the muscles in the body while shedding pounds. Sculpt an energetic physical body with strength while building endurance with movement.
Be prepared to get bendy! An advance sequence for the seasoned yogis who already are well versed in Chin balance. Take it slow with this one. Chin balance is a major deep backbend, and there is no rush to get into any “final” pose. Be where you are—it is a great place to be!
Ramp up your core strength and get ready to explore chin stand. This advanced posture may seem elusive and unattainable, but once you build the strength and let go of the fear, you will be floating up to inversion and arm balance at all the same time.
Known as the source of personal power and warrior energy, the Solar Plexus, or Manipura is open with a dynamic sequence to ignite the fire. To further activate this chakra and turning on the heat, twisting postures will also stimulate greater digestive health and energize you with confidence into the day ahead!
