For Day 26 of the Fortify & Flourish Fall Series, are you ready for some core? This gentle somatics class reintroduces core work in a way that allows you to move your body freely without squeezing or bracing your core. If you haven't worked this way, you'll be amazed by the subtle yet deep work you're doing as well as how freely your breath moves and the space you create. Have a blanket or two available for this class.
Restorative is a gentle practice that uses props to encourage the body into deep relaxation. This form of yoga is a regenerative healing tool that calms the nervous system and reduces stress through supported postures, breathing and meditative techniques.
Level 1 classes introduce basic Yoga postures, breathing fundamentals and instruct how to work with the body in order to access subtleties of the mind. Yoga props and use will be introduced, as well as Sanskrit terms for postures, and breath-work.
