Acro Heart Opener

Inspired by the way we are relaxing in the hammock, this lunar flow class practices the dynamics of yin and yang between both partners. The flyer will experience various muscle sensations while finding the balance of softening and strengthening with the support of the base. It will require both partners to communicate and trust.

In this lunar flow class, you and your partner will work your way to a more advanced pose known as King Pigeon with the steady support of the base and lightness of the flyer. This class will require both partners to be mindful and aware of the front side body flexibility with the flyer and the strength of the legs and hips with the base.

In this therapeutic lunar flow class, you and your partner will learn to connect basic lunar AcroYoga poses with smooth footing transitions for a full flying massage session. For a sweet surrendering yet energizing practice, both partners will explore poses like Posterior Twists, Buddha Toss, and Bow Rotations to help each other enter a flow state.

In this intermediate class, you will learn the skills of thigh standing while counterbalancing with your partner. Learn to lean away from your partner with different variations of thigh-stand poses while finding standing balance and stability with each other and work your way towards Flag.

This intermediate class will work towards High Flying Whale Pose and Camel to prepare you and your partner for more advance back bending postures. The base uses their feet to support the flyer into these amazing heart openers and help lengthen the thoracic spine for the flyer.

This beginner-level flow will teach you to cultivate trust and playfulness with the healing arts of AcroYoga. You will work as a team in the roles of the base (giver) and flyer (receiver) to explore synchronized movement with the base guiding the flyer into inverted flying positions with passive assisted stretches using gravity.
